I dont have a hermit or any 3rd job character, and i wanted to experience using flash jump, shadow partner and basically all the fun hermit skills. I thought of a way I could experience all of them, without going through the process of actually leveling up that far. It took a while, I kept coming off and on it and really nothing got done, but I hit level 60 in the actual game, and so i was determined to finish.
